Let me give you my history. I am a 48 year old male who had a problem and ended up with amnesia. Now I had to learn alot of things over again but navigation around my home town of Tampa Fl was made so easy it was rediculous that it is hardly worth mentioning except that the Garmin 3600 made it a bearable task. I forget every thing so I had to relearn every thing again and sometimes I would get frustrated and forget the street I lived on but the Garmin IQue 3600 made life bearable. It helped me find my way around like I had never had any problem! I just input the address or click on the screen and it would calculate the route down to the one way streets AND detours if it was updated periodically as is recommneded. I have yet to get lost and it has been years since I got it. It will allow you to input the address or just click in the screen with the stylus and it will tell you IN VOICE COMMANDS LIKE “Turn left at the 2nd street marked Dale Mabry Highway and then go 1.3 miles to your destination on the right”. Next as you got closer it would tell you “in 500 feet your destinatoion will be on the right” then “in 300 feet….”, “in 200 feet…”‘”in 100 feet…”,”Destination on right”! It is just as simple as if you can follow a vocal command then you can make good use of it.” This unit has internal maps plus the ability to download more detailed maps so you only have to have the origination and destinations maps in the memory.”. If you are in neeed of a device that will take you from point A to Point B without a problem this is your unit PLUS it has a multitude of other features to round out its performance to make it “In my humble opinion the BEST GPS on the market and I have shopped for weeks and looked at dozens of units but I always came back to the Gamin 3600 and that is the one I bought and I along with my family are very happy that I did!!!
