Had this unit on my small boat and it was OK. I got it used from a bigger boat (40 footer) that was moving up. My 30 ft boat has small dashboard. This unit fit nicely.

You will appreciate having Color to make it easier to see and differentiate items on the map screens. Did find it odd that it is hard to input your own points.

Stored it face down once and it got water on it and it died. Miss it tremendously.

It was good on drawing the maps. Good on keeping track. Loved the way it used NEMA to talk to the autopilot. It saves lots of fuel and time to travel to next point using Tracking.

Installed easily and worked nice. I did want to find a way to clean up the display screen. The big menu that stays up in the right side top corner took up to much of the map area. But I may have been overly greedy for map area. It is a small unit.

It worked like a champ for a long time until I put it away poorly. My oops. Most sea spray onto the dash wiped off with no problems while on the mounting bracket. If I had left it up on the top the rains would not have hurt it.

I would, and may, get the same or similar unit again.
