I own this and know many who own other types of Garmin car GPS. I think it is by far superior to other competitor products. Interface is great, it’s decently accurate, but having had this now for over a year I can tell you that I have issues with some of the build quality. The suction cup mount works, but I take it off as it’s becoming a popular thief target. I pretty much have to purchase a new cup once a year. No biggie for $10 to know that it’s safe. My real disappointment comes from the fact that the 12V charger has almost become useless and I will have to purchase a new one. It doesn’t connect well anymore unless it’s at a specific angle. It’s rather annoying and I wish they would do something about this and find another way, other than a spring-loaded action to hold it in there. I doubt I’m the only one experiencing this. This is not going to be cheap to replace as this charger also holds the traffic transmitter. If I had to purchase all over again, I would stick with Garmin, but perhaps one of their flat units that are coming down in price very quickly. They also seem to have a better mount, although it is still a suction cup mount.
