The Garmin gps is a great unit for new drivers and hikers or bikers. It is small conveniant and gives an exact location to where you are and it uses regular double A’s and they last forever. It also has a great indiglow light that is like the one on watches. The only things I don’t like is that it doesn’t give exact directions it will only tell you where you are speed and if you go off course. It is also conveniant because it fits right on your dash with velcro. I received this as a Christmas gift from my brother and I just got my license and I use it all the time especially when I go to Chicago because it pin points your location to the foot. I really love this satellite. There is one more minus which is that sometimes in smaller cities it has trouble finding satelites and if it isn’t by a window it has poor coverage but all in all it is great.
