What seems to be a very interesting unit with great additional features as well as an attractive chasis, this unit lacks in the fundamentals, the GPS tracking. I bought the unit and took it on a 6 hour long trip, and once on the highway lost the satelite signal for some reason (it was a perfectly clear and sunny day) and was not able to get it back until I stopped for gas. I then lost the signal once again within 15 mins of pulling away from the gas station.

As it turns out, the unit HAS to be plugged into the cradle (which is fine) and has to be plugged into the cigarette lighter, and if you loose signal, you need to stop moving, and reset the unit in order to get a satelite signal again, maybe, that is if the unit decides that it wants to use the satelite.

I found the unit more frustrating then anything, as it spent more time with a lost signal, then with a good signal.

Also if you are looking for support, good luck, you are basically on your own. The only support I have been able to find is other user’s reviews.

Take my word and do not waste your time with this unit.
