The Good

The unit is nice and compact. It comes with all the accessories you will need including a wall charger, cigarette lighter charger, remote control, storage case, and the necessary hardware to mount it temporarily to you windshield. It has accurate directions and recalculates the route if you miss a turn. If you are somewhere you are not familiar with, and would like to stop somewhere the unit has a large collection of points of interest, including schools, restaurants, rest stops, and town centers. Also the unit feels fair durable.

The Bad

It works way too slow and often freezes, even when it was new. At times it has taken 10 to 15 minutes to input my destination. Also, sometimes after I enter the destination it just goes to a map and will not navigate me. I would have to restart the unit 3 or 4 times before it will being to give me directions. At times it will not have GPS signal and beings to search for one, and at times this has taken up to 20 minutes or half an hour. Sometimes when it goes to recalculate your route it takes too much time and I often pass the turn it wants me to make due to lack of notice.

The Verdict

I have had only problems with this GPS unit. It became more of a pain in the butt than anything. I don’t even use the unit any more. Its less of a headache to just print out directions from map quest or another online source. It was a waste of money.
