I love this little GPS! I researched the different variety of automobile GPS’s for a very long time before I decided to buy this one. I found a deal on line from “www.frys.com” and I was able to purchase this for $199 shipped. I was very happy with the price and spent a few days hoping I was going to be as happy once it arrived.

SET-UP

You have to load the maps onto the GPS. I live in Oklahoma and I was able to load Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and the upper half of Texas before running out of room. The set-up is pretty easy and took about 15 minutes total. I did find that in order to get the satellite after loading the maps I had to shut it off, go outside and turn it on. I got the satellite immediately doing it that way.

USE

Very clear voice. I had to turn the volume down because it was like she was yelling at me the voice was so loud. The screen is crystal clear and mounted on the dash of my SUV I can see the screen clearly with no glare from the sun/windshield. It is easy to find points of interest, and to enter addresses. I have not found a location it has not recognized yet. It does not have the ability to tell you what street you are turning on, just how far away from the turn and if it is on your left or right. You can look at the screen and see the street name so for me this was no big deal and definitely not worth paying extra for.

Included in the box: the map CD, the USB to connect the unit to the computer, the dashboard mount, the unit and the power adaptor to plug it into the lighter in your car.
