We have owned this unit for five years and used it a considerable amount.We had a little problem acquiring the satellite until we contacted tech support and purchased an external antenna. Our only call to tech support was about the problem that we had acquiring the satellite. Very user friendly even for older folks. We use and love the destination storage feature for future use which then does not have to be entered each time. It is also nice to be able to enter future destinations prior to leaving home and then just bring them up with a push of the button a few time. Its great driving in large cities as it gives turning directions a mile prior to the turn which allows you to change lanes etc to be able to make the turn. The alert bell than rings at the turn to get your attention. The unit will guide you back to your destination route if you make a wrong turn. This is especially nice in large cities where the next exit may be a mile or two down the road. The four route selections allows you to avoid freeways, use freeways if you want or take the shortest or fastest route. The voice directions are especially great when driving in heavy traffic and you can listen and keep your eyes on the road. Night driving with the illuminated screen is much easier than trying to travel using computer printed directions.
