I LOVE my garmin. I travel for work to 23 different states and my Garmin makes my life SOOOOOOOOO much easier!

It is wonderful when you are at an unfamiliar place and looking for somewhere to eat or even a mall to do a little shopping. I wish it was a little more compact (the newer Nuvi model is!), but, I’ve had mine for about 3 years now and I never travel without it. It is easy to use. I do turn the sound off a lot, just because I get tired of having Wendy (that is what I call her!) talking to me. The price is half of buying them now is half of what I orginally paid for it and it is worth every penny! I have seen them this christmas for under $200.

On cloudy days or if you are in a ‘downtown’ area with high rise buildings, it may take a little longer to actually get a ‘reading’, but, it has always worked for me. I try and put in all the addresses that I am looking for, before I leave the motel in the morning and this way I can just access my ‘favorites’, when looking for another place to go.
