I’ve been using this device for about 10 months and have been repeatedly frustrated by it. It seems to lack even basic points of interest. Yesterday, my son and I were headed to a state park about 75 miles away. I assumed it would have this POI no problem. It would not find it by name, zip code, or even street address. I had to go back inside and print a map from Google. This happens frequently, so now I am faced with very little confidence in the device. And that is the point of having a GPS. If I have to print a map “just in case” then why do I need this device??

It also tries to route me out of our subdivision via a deadend. I realize that this is a database problem, but it would be nice to be able to add some type of “universal avoid” points. You can only add avoids to a route.

It’s routing seems to be very illogical. Zigging and zagging through a residential neighborhood to save a tenth of a mile. But maybe all GPS is like this, but it is frustrating. (This is my first GPS)

I bought this device as an inexpensive entry into GPS. Overall it has soured me to the whole technology. So many others love their device that I have to believe that others are better than this one.
